About the Role
This is a senior sales leadership role responsible for driving Kia Canada’s national sales strategy and performance across the dealer network.
Reporting to the Director, Sales, and overseeing the Senior Manager, Sales Operations and Manager, CPO, and Remarketing, this role owns core sales operations functions, including business planning, target setting, performance management, and process optimization.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with the Dealer Advisory Board and regional teams, lead field training and bonus program initiatives, and oversee Fleet sales and the Certified Pre-Owned program.

Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Director, Sales, and oversee the Senior Manager, Sales Operations, and the Manager, CPO and Remarketing.
- Lead core sales operations functions, including business planning, reporting, target setting, performance management, sales process optimization, field training, and program implementation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Dealer Advisory Board (DAB), including managing elections, quarterly meetings, and monthly calls.
- Provide regional support and contribute to business development across all areas.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current sales, marketing, and incentive programs, including claims processes, to support regions and dealers effectively.
- Organize and participate in weekly traffic calls, monthly field staff meetings, and quarterly dealer communications.
- Plan and execute field staff training initiatives.
- Identify opportunities and develop proposals to enhance sales processes across the organization and dealership network nationally.
- Develop and administer quarterly field bonus programs.
- Manage the MMI budget in collaboration with Regional Managers and the Director of Sales.
- Coordinate key communications, including 20-day and month-end reminders to regional offices.
- Oversee Fleet sales operations, including BN and BR sales and relationships with fleet partners.
- Provide oversight of the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program and support ongoing development.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in sales and/or marketing; automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
- Regional or retail operations experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary of $160,000 – $180,000
- Bonus 8-15%
- Vacation: 3 weeks (+ 1 at anniversary date up to 25 days) + 5 PTO + 1 week holiday shutdown (between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.)
- Car: Demo Vehicle + Gas Card + up to 2 lease vehicles.
- Benefits: 100% coverage and fully paid by employer.
- $1,000 PSA or HSA
- RRSP: 3% up to 6% depending on seniority
- Summer program/Flexible hours/Tuition reimbursement, among others.
