Lead Change. Build Capacity. Empower Communities.
SafeGuards Training is on the move—and we’re looking for a visionary, hands-on leader to help take us to the next level.
We’re a collaborative, impact-driven not-for-profit dedicated to transforming the way professionals support children, youth, adults, and families impacted by trauma.
Our mission? To build capacity across the care sector through evidence-based, trauma-informed training that’s responsive, inclusive, and deeply relevant.
With a growing demand for both virtual and in-person learning, and with plans to expand our reach across Canada, this is a unique moment to step in as our Executive Director and shape our next chapter.

- Develop meaningful partnerships across mental health, social services, education, developmental services, and Indigenous well-being sectors
- Ensure operational excellence and financial sustainability
- Support innovation in training delivery and knowledge exchange
This is a perfect opportunity for a mission-driven leader—whether you’re an experienced nonprofit executive or a rising star ready to make your mark—to guide a respected organization through a dynamic period of growth and impact.

- Respond to evolving sector needs through dynamic training and special projects
What You Bring
- At least 5 years in senior leadership in the non-profit or public sector, ideally with Board experience

- Proven success in organizational leadership, staff management, and strategic planning
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and public speaking skills
