Karen Hoffman is a Senior Consultant with Feldman Daxon Partners. Karen brings nearly 10 years’ experience as a career transition consultant, supporting, advising, and guiding transitioning individuals from diverse backgrounds and industries in both the not-for-profit and private sectors. Working with directors, managers, pre-management professionals, and students, Karen applies coaching and counselling principles to help individuals explore, identify and achieve realistic and attainable career goals.
Karen holds a high participant engagement rate, facilitates energized and motivational workshops, and is passionate about possibilities and people development. Backed by progressive experience in HR consulting firms, Karen has well-developed strengths in career planning, management, transition and exploration, facilitation, vocational assessments, résumé writing, interviewing, networking and job search strategies.
Karen is passionate about continuing professional development. She holds an Honours Diploma in Career Counselling, and has over 10 years of study in Psychology. She is currently completing a Certificate in Adult Learning Principles, and has reached Level 5 in American Sign Language studies. Karen is an assessment enthusiast and holds great pride in her assessment training, which includes Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory, and Personality Dimensions.
